Using cotton fabrics the patchwork 'tops 'are pieced and sewn using a sewing machine. Reused and vintage fabrics are included in many quilts. The 'wadding' middle layer is polyester cotton for ease of washing but  100% cotton can be used on request. The 'back' layer is 100% cotton fabric unless stated otherwise. The quilts are finished by hand and each one is unique. A child's name can be added if wished.

Hen and Chicks Quilts

 Inspired by a lovely children's book 'Rosie Goes For a Walk', these new baby quilts show a hen with her chicks with hand embroidered legs, between rows of random patchwork squares.  They are shown in blue or red, but could be made in other colours.

Elephant Quilts

 These are jolly quilts for a new baby featuring rows of random squared patchwork and little elephants with bows and a star overhead. Fabrics will vary as all quilts are individual and unique, but the effect will be the same.

Hot Pink Summer Quilt

 This quilt is made from vintage brightly patterned summer dress fabrics with touches of geometric spotty cotton. The backing fabric is cream with tiny brown dots.

Teddies and Toys Quilt

This quilt is made from a design of larger and smaller squares. On the white background squares, teddies sit with traditional style toys and the smaller squares are in blues, yellow and red fabrics.The backing fabric is blue with a small red and white over all pattern.The edges are bound with natural coloured soft calico.

Sailing Boats Quilt

Bright squares in blue fabrics are alternated with red squares featuring rows of little fish on this quilt. Different types of sailing boat are appliqued onto the white squares in between. The backing fabric is white with pale blue spots which matches the bindings. Below is a close up photo of the front of the quilt.

Worms and Whales Quilt

The colours of this quilt are sunshine yellows and greens with white inserted squares patterned with little drawings of worms, whales, monkeys, pandas and other animals. Below is a close up of the fabrics and the backing fabric which is an orange checked design.

This quilt is in soft pink and dove grey fabrics, with bright accents and a charming retro print fabric featuring tiny pink handbags, shoes and coats. It has an over all quilting pattern and a backing fabric of pale lilac gingham fabric.

Little Cats Quilt

Made in a traditional 'snowball' pattern, this quilt uses fabric with a little print of cats and paw prints. It is ideal to tuck around a baby on a chilly day when out for a walk. The backing fabric is a soft green colour with tiny white flowers in a retro style.

Gentle Colours Spring Baby Quilt

This quilt has a simple design of squares and rectangles in soft colours. Pinks, yellows, lilacs and blues mingle together, with brighter accents of blue and red. The fabric on the back of the quilt is pale blue with tiny white dots. The binding fabric is a combination of all the fabrics used in the quilt.This is a really pretty quilt.
